[Wii] Mario Kart Wii Custom Servers; Play online after Wii Online Shutdown

I know this is not Zelda 64-related, but people who play online on Wii and DS have to know this! So please, don't consider it spam.

Wiimm and his team have made a patch that adds a custom server to Mario Kart Wii (and other games), so we can play online after WiFi Shutdown in 20th May. It's now working (note that it's in Alpha, but still works great) So what you have to do is add your Friend Code in the Web Formula (http://wiimmfi.profeibe.at/) and then, apply the patch.

Here's a video of it:

Here you have some links of how to patch the game, and some further information:

If the servers are strong enough, this should be an alternate for those who still cherrish playing the Wii/DS online after Nintendo shuts down their servers. If I ever get a standard Wii(lost mine), then I'll definitely consider jumping on the servers.

However, does Nintendo even know about this? If they don't already know, I fear the servers might just get revoked(I hope they don't though) and shut down.
(insert really cool signature here. too bad there's another one that's always 20% cooler than the rest)

Microsoft knows about the alternate servers for Halo 1 and 2 and they know about the alternate original Xbox xbox live servers, but they arent revoked since they phased those out. What people do to support it without the company is their issue. If something gets screwed up, its not the companys fault. They dont really care.

As some of you may know, I have left the rom editing scene, never to return. I will be attending UNL. I will also be getting a job, so I will not have the time to run a community and make all of these projects.

I'm leaving you all in good hands. Sylux102, one of the best Maco staff members, will be carrying on in my stead. His forums are on Zelda64.net. Register there, since this website is archive only.

As for OoT 2D and Izou, I will be leaving those in the hands of GodsTurf's team, Lunar World. If you are fans of these projects, subscribe to them.
