Hi everyone, My name is jack (you can call me pierre) and I am a 20 year old composer living in the northern California bay area. I have been a composer since the womb it kinda runs in the family. Ocarina of time was one of the games that actually inspired me to be a musician. Im looking for any work composing on mods here im still starting out and i want to make some sort of name for myself. Here are a couple samples of my music!

Your talents will definitely be wanted here!

Now know that you can't just take any old .mp3 and shove it into game.
If you want to make a song that can go into a ROM, you'll have to make a .midi then convert it to a .zseq.
However, if you make good music, I bet some lovely member here can do that for you, as long as you supply the .midi.

If you want to make music like OoT's, I suggest you start by playing around with OoT's soundfont.
That can be found here:

Have fun!

Welcome to the forums pierre! Godsturf beat me to it too :P at anyrate, as Godsturf said, music for oot can only be in midi format. If youd like a song injected feel free to ask me to do so, its a very quick process and i am very experienced with the tools to do so. Also, when you feel comfortable composing midis for oot, id like to use your talent in a personal ROM mod im doing. Ill PM you the deets. Again, have an excellent stay here at maco! :)

Wow guys, sorry for being so late in reply here thanks for the tip there i never really export to midi i usually just make a internet friendly file mp3 file to upload. Here are some .mid files i did as examples in the microsoft general midi set so its easier to convert

Example 1

Example 2

Would these be good enough?

As some of you may know, I have left the rom editing scene, never to return. I will be attending UNL. I will also be getting a job, so I will not have the time to run a community and make all of these projects.

I'm leaving you all in good hands. Sylux102, one of the best Maco staff members, will be carrying on in my stead. His forums are on Zelda64.net. Register there, since this website is archive only.

As for OoT 2D and Izou, I will be leaving those in the hands of GodsTurf's team, Lunar World. If you are fans of these projects, subscribe to them.
