Bonjour à tous !

Comment allez-vous ?

I'm Hayate, a french Ocarina of Time huge fan and a modding fan. I just discovered your forum and I had tears just because I seen a community that is modding my favorite game which was Ocarina of Time. Awesome mods, awesome members, awesome community. I want to learn how to work with Ocarina of Time so I'll take a look at all the tutorials.

Thanks for your work and I believe that we could be friends hé hé ! :D

Welcome to the Maco64 community Hayate! Most if not all of us are also huge fans of OoT or MM and enjoy modding these games as well. The OoT Debug Rom is the easiest to modify, and has plenty of room to work with. Start small and eventually you may be able to create your own IZOU like mod. We at the community hope you enjoy your stay.

And in French, compliments of Google Translate:

Bienvenue dans la communauté Maco64 Hayate! La plupart sinon la totalité d'entre nous aussi de grands fans de OoT ou MM et profiter de modding ces jeux ainsi. Le OoT Debug Rom est le plus facile à modifier, et a beaucoup de place

Thanks all !

I'm going to get an Everdrive 64 (with the NTSC chip on it, to go with my NTSC-J N64) soon so I can't wait to try Izou Zelda and other Ocarina of Time hacks on the real hardware !

And why not trying to mod and testing my mods on my N64.

They don't work on ever drive. Sorry. IzOU is tested and DOES NOT WORK ON EVERDRIVE 64

Oh... No problem, I'll do it on emulator, but I'd like to learn how to hack Ocarina of Time in order to make my hacks working on the proper hardware. Just seen that a new version of Model2N64 that can make OOT hacks that contain custom models working on the console is going to be released ?

As some of you may know, I have left the rom editing scene, never to return. I will be attending UNL. I will also be getting a job, so I will not have the time to run a community and make all of these projects.

I'm leaving you all in good hands. Sylux102, one of the best Maco staff members, will be carrying on in my stead. His forums are on Zelda64.net. Register there, since this website is archive only.

As for OoT 2D and Izou, I will be leaving those in the hands of GodsTurf's team, Lunar World. If you are fans of these projects, subscribe to them.
